Since its founding in 1977, Port City Playhouse has regularly earned awards from area theatre organizations for the artistic and technical excellence of its productions. That record of excellence continues in our 33rd season. Please join us for a year of great theatre!

Port City's 33rd Season of Change Port City Playhouse is proud to maintain its tradition of giving audiences an exciting, innovative theatre experience with four outstanding plays for its 2010-2011 Season including:
With the upcoming 10-11 season, Port City will mark 33 years of outstanding theatrical productions. Location for our first two shows, Farragut North and Rashomon, is the Lee Center for the Performing Arts, 1108 Jefferson Street in Old Town Alexandria, VA 22314. Our third and fourth shows, No Niggers, No Jews, No Dogs and Mindgame, will be performed in a new space, The Lab at Convergence Creative Community located at 1819 N. Quaker Lane, Alexandria, VA 22302. Throughout Port City’s 33-year history, the company’s
boards of directors have been justifiably proud of the quality of plays
presented. And we feel our 33rd season's
lineup of plays will offer our audiences an especially good year of theatre.
