Remember, Port City Playhouse is an all volunteer, member driven theatre and we are depending on YOU! PCP's membership year runs from Aug 1 to Jul 31st. Membership dues include 1 ticket for each production, subscription to the Port Hole (our quarterly newsletter), and voting privileges at the Annual Meeting. Annual Meeting Announced!

Port City's Annual Membership Meeting will be on Sat July 23rd, 2011. Social hour will begin at 1 pm and the business session will start at 2 pm. At that time we will be voting in our new board. If you are interested in serving, please contact Frank at frankpas1@verizon.net for more information.

Location: The Lab at Convergence, 1819 N. Quaker Lane, Alexandria, VA 22302 (on the north corner of Crestwood and Quaker across from the Church at Convergence).

Storage Site Sponsors Wanted

Port City Playhouse is not permitted to store any of its equipment or build any of its sets in the Lee Center. Immediately prior to opening a show, we assemble the set parts which have been constructed and painted in our off-site storage facility. And we may only bring our "road boxes" and lighting instruments into Lee Center for Tech Week and the run of the show. The rest of the time, all of our equipment and supplies reside at Storage Plus, 4650 Eisenhower Avenue, a rental facility.

We are earnestly seeking sponsors willing to pay the rent on this facility for a month, a quarter, or even a full year. The present cost is $335 per month, with annual increases in the range of 10-15%, which hits our production budgets pretty hard.

If you are able to pledge $335 for a month (or longer), we will recognize you in our playbills and give you two Season Tickets to our upcoming productions. If you are able to pledge more than one month, we will find additional ways to recognize and reward your generosity in becoming one of our Storage Sponsors.
